We took Ko from Korea and replaced Ca in Cambodia — creating a brand new name: Kombodia
The "K" Carries Two Meanings
"K" stands for Korea — the land where our Cambodian community lives, works, and builds their future.
"K" also stands for Khmer — the identity, language, and culture we carry with us wherever we go.
Born From Passion, Built With Purpose
Kombodia was founded in 31.03.2026 by a team sharing one clear vision — to provide reliable guidance and trusted information for Cambodian workers living and working in Korea.
We understood that moving to a new country, especially Korea, is a big leap. The language, the laws, the workplace culture, the systems — everything is new. Kombodia was created to be the guide that every Cambodian worker in Korea deserves.
The name Kombodia is not a typo of Cambodia. It is a deliberate and meaningful blend — Korea + Cambodia — reflecting the deep connection between two countries and the people who bridge them every day.
We believe that making life easier in Korea — from understanding your rights to navigating daily challenges — is a mission worth pursuing. That belief is what Kombodia is built on.
